Tien Shan Argali

The Tien Shan Argali is one of the largest wild sheep species in the world. In the Aksu-Djabagly nature reserve most animals have been killed by poachers. There are however plans to start a breeding station to bring the population of this and other thinned out animal species in the reserve on a healthy level again.

The ideals which have lighted my way,
and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully,
have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth.
The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury
have always seemed to me contemptible.
